Fuoco is a battery powered wall spotlight that installs with no wiring at all. It mounts with an adhesive pad or two screws, making it a simple way to add accent lighting to a rented home or to a spot where there is no power anywhere nearby, such as above artwork, inside a bookshelf or along a stairway.
The compact head measures 3.94 by 2.95 by 3.94 inches and rotates 300 degrees with a 90 degree tilt, so the same mounting point can graze a canvas, highlight a shelf, wash a corner or spotlight a plant. The included remote turns the light on and off, adjusts brightness and sets a timer, so the light switches itself off rather than running all night and draining the batteries.
Two finishes are offered, white or black, and two light versions: a classic white light for art and display lighting, or a multicolor version for a more playful accent. It runs on three AA batteries, sold separately. As accent lighting it works beautifully for gallery walls, framed prints, sculptures, open shelving, closets and entry niches. A set of several spotlights creates an easy, wire free gallery lighting scheme in a hallway or living room.
