Mame is a small Japanese style clip lamp in wood, iron and acrylic, measuring 3.94 inches across and 6.1 inches tall. The clamp attaches it to a headboard, shelf, desk edge or bed frame with no drilling and no bracket, so it adds a dedicated reading light without taking up any surface space.

At this size it creates a soft pool of light for a book, journal or bedside rather than lighting the whole room, which keeps glare low for late night reading. The rounded wooden form has a warm, crafted feel that suits Japandi, Scandinavian and minimalist bedrooms, and it looks just as at home on a bookshelf or studio desk. Natural wood colour and darker walnut are offered, to match furniture, floors or a headboard, and two clipped either side of a bed make a neat matching pair.

It plugs into a standard outlet, so there is no wiring or installation. The lamp takes one standard E26 bulb, sold separately, and because the shade sits close to the bulb, a low wattage LED is the right choice, as it runs cool to the touch. The jaw opening of the clip is not published, so very thick surfaces are worth checking before ordering. It is rated for indoor dry locations only.

Clamps where you need it

A round wood head on a clip, so it grips a shelf edge, a headboard or a desk lip instead of taking up surface space. 3.94 inches across, 6.1 inches tall.

Small, warm, out of the way

Wood, iron and acrylic in a plain round form. At this size it is a pool of light for a book or a bedside, not a light for the whole room.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it clip on, or does it mount to the wall?

It clips on. The clamp is how it attaches, so there is no drilling and no bracket. Worth knowing that the supplier's own data sheet labels the fixture type as a wall lamp while the product is a clip on lamp with a plug. The clip and the plug are what actually ship.
Is a bulb included?

No. It takes one standard E26 bulb, which you supply, and accepts LED, incandescent or fluorescent. Given how close the shade sits to the bulb, a low wattage LED is the sensible choice.
How much space does the clip need?

The head is 3.94 inches across and the fixture stands 6.1 inches tall. The supplier does not publish the jaw opening of the clip, so if you are clamping to something unusually thick, ask us and we will check it with them before you order.
Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we ship free on all orders, with no minimum purchase required.
How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days and transit times are estimated at 6–8 business days after dispatch.
Will I receive tracking information for my order?

Yes, once your order ships, tracking details are emailed so you can follow delivery progress.
What is your return policy timeframe?

You can return items within 30 days from when your order arrives for an easy return.
Do I pay a restocking fee?

There are no restocking fees as long as the item is unused and returned in its original packaging.
What if my item is damaged or defective?

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are free to return, and refunds are typically processed within 7 business days after inspection.
