Hand blown smoke gray glass dome

Fumo is a hand blown smoke gray glass dome pendant, measuring 9.06 inches across and 9.06 inches tall. The tinted glass gives a moody, refined glow, and because each dome is blown by hand, slight variations in tone and form make every piece a little different, which is part of its handmade appeal.

The bulb shapes the look. A filament style bulb reads as a warm amber core glowing through the smoke tint, while a frosted LED gives a softer, more even light. Hung singly over a bedside or bar, or in a row of two or three over a kitchen island or dining table, it adds a sophisticated, contemporary accent that pairs well with marble, brass, walnut and matte black finishes alike. Switched off, the tinted dome still reads as a polished glass sculpture overhead.

The adjustable cord runs to 59.06 inches, and over a dining table the usual starting point is 30 to 36 inches above the surface. The pendant takes one E26 bulb, sold separately, and an LED bulb is the efficient choice that keeps the glass cool. It is UL listed and hardwired for indoor dry locations, so a licensed electrician is recommended for installation and for setting the final cord length.

Tinted glass, softer light

Smoke gray takes the glare off a bare bulb without hiding it. A filament bulb reads as a warm amber core through the tint.
